3D printed face shields

Prusa Research in Prague, has turned part of his factory over to the production of medical face shields. The company has taken an existing shield design, tweaked it for easier printing and to get more printed per build plate, and then sought the approval of the Czech Ministry of Health before going public.

Prusa has a huge print farm – 500 Prusa Mk3s – on which is prints its own product. ~100 of these printers are now making face masks, producing 500 per day, according to to the company.
